Activities 2022 Lecture by Prof. Barbara WallThrough this lecture, Prof. Barbara Wall delved into the image of the webtoon “Along with the Gods” as a representation of the vanguard of the discourse on “Hell Chosŏn.” International Symposium ‘Women, Equality, and Slavery in Korea’This symposium featured six lectures on gender and slavery in Korea given by renowned researchers in these fields from the University of Málaga and South Korea. Seminar on Slavery in Korea (16th-20th centuries)The topic of this seminar was slavery in Korea during the transition period between the Joseon Dynasty and the 20th century. Academic Meeting "Borders, Slavery, and Identities: An Overview"The meeting focused on borders as integral elements of the processes of ethnogenesis, transition, and domination such as slavery.
