Workshop “What I Know,” with the Korean Cultural Center and Kang Ik Joong

Artist Kang Ik Joong invited students from around the world to collaborate in the creation of an art installation made up of squares featuring syllables written in Hangul. The students shared their knowledge and expressed their thoughts and feelings about the Korean alphabet in celebration of Hangeul Day.

The final result consisted of three art panels composed of a total of 6,072 colorful syllabic blocks. The installation was exhibited at the Korean Cultural Center from October 19, 2023, to January 10, 2024, showcasing the connection between people and Korean script through collective knowledge.
