📚 The East Asian Studies Area of the University of Malaga organizes the Research Methodology Workshop: Gender Approach in Korean Studies Research, an international workshop aimed at providing specialized methodological training in gender analysis applied to Korean Studies.

The seminar will be held on May 13, 23 and 27, 2025, in classroom (ADA-CESC Classroom, University of Malaga) and online, and will be attended by faculty from the University of Malaga and international universities such as Goethe Frankfurt, Siena and Tubingen.

This workshop is aimed at graduate students in East Asian Studies from Spanish universities and students from the universities of Frankfurt, Siena and Tübingen interested in applying gender perspectives to their research on Korea.

During the sessions, a theoretical introduction to women’s and gender studies will be offered, as well as practical examples of its application in fields such as literature, performing arts, social history and public policy in Korea.

Participation is free of charge. Certificate of attendance will be issued.
