The “Korean Literature Review Contest 2023” of the Literature Translation Institute (LTI Korea) provides an excellent opportunity for you to express your emotions and thoughts about Korean literature in various ways. The purpose of it is to remove barriers to engage in Korean literature and promote beauty and diversity of Korean literature.

It was held between September and October 2023, with the following categories:

Book Essay (2000 words)
Video (3min Video or 1min Shorts)
Drawing (Poster, Webtoon, Calligraphy).

The books to review were:

About My Daughter by Kim Hye-jin (Spanish).
If We Can’t Travel at the Speed of Light by Kim Choyeop (Spanish)
Whale by Cheon Myeong-kwan (English)
Hope is lonely by Kim Seung-hee (English)

Participants could win a trip to Korea, tablets, e-books and Amazon gift cards.
