Between 2015 and 2018, the East Asian Studies section at the University of Málaga offered four editions of the Introductory Course in Korean–Spanish Literary Translation, organized in collaboration with the Literature Translation Institute of Korea (LTI Korea).

The course consisted of 60 hours in which students read, translated, edited, and discussed a selected work of Korean literature. Additionally, they had the opportunity to meet the author of the text. The works translated during the different editions of the course were:

• Towards the Kennels (사육장 쪽으로), by Pyun Hyeyoung (편혜영)
• A Story About Everything but the Kirin (기린이 아닌 모든 것에 대한 이야기), by Lee Jangwook (이장욱)
• With Chrysanthemums in My Arms (국화를 안고), by Jeon Seong-tae (전성태)
• Five Joys of Those Who Take Walks (산책하는 이들의 다섯 가지 즐거움), by Kim Yeong-soo (김연수)
