The Korea Foundation e-School Program for Latin America was a program launched by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea. Since August 2014, the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (UANL), through its Center for Asian Studies (CEA), served as the regional hub for this program across Latin America. The courses were offered free of charge, as they were fully funded by the Korea Foundation, and they received official recognition from both the Korean government and UANL.
Members of the East Asian Studies section at the University of Málaga collaborated on the project and taught courses aimed at enhancing understanding of the culture, society, economy, politics, and other aspects of Korea and other East Asian countries.
