Visiting Professor
Philologist of Hispanic Letters specialized in Hispanic American literature. Doctor of Letters from the Complutense University of Madrid with a doctoral thesis entitled “Escritura y reescritura en Reinaldo Arenas” (Writing and Rewriting in Reinaldo Arenas) on the Cuban novelist Reinaldo Arenas.
Master’s degree in Spanish Literature from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in Korea. Teaching at the university, he has worked at the Literature Translation Institute of Korea (LTI Korea), a government institution to promote Korean literature in foreign countries.
He has played his roles as a member of the organizing committee for Korea as a guest country at the Tokyo International Book Fair, Beijing International Book Fair, member of the Korea-European Union Cultural Cooperation Advisory Committee and others.
He has received the decoration of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism in 2001, 2005, 2021.
He was a visiting professor at the University of Malaga during the year 2022, where he taught the subject “Literature of Korea through its Texts” in the Degree in East Asian Studies.
